Cooper to miss Sharks clash?

Sydney - Reds playmaker Quade Cooper's hopes of playing in the Super Rugby playoff against the Sharks on Saturday hinge on a judiciary hearing on Monday.

The Wallaby flyhalf was sin-binned by referee Steve Walsh and later cited for a high tackle that forced Waratahs counterpart Berrick Barnes to be replaced in the defending champions' 32-16 win in Brisbane on Saturday.

SANZAR on Sunday said Cooper would face a hearing on Monday.

A SANZAR statement said Cooper was alleged to have tackled Barnes in the 63rd minute of the match, making contact above the shoulders.

Cooper was one of the Reds' outstanding players in the five tries to two win over the Waratahs to claim the Australia conference and the third ranking playoff spot ahead of the Brumbies, who surprisingly lost to the Blues at home.

Justice must come first, rather than a sentimental pardon

We hope so, but doubt in this system is rife!! Butch, Bakkies banned before they even announce the hearing!! These guys get away with too much!!!!

Will we see double standards being applied?

Hope so! Super rugby needs players like cooper

Oh boo hoo! Just let him play, super rugby sucks without him! If I was him I'd complain that sbw almost took tim batemans head off on friday and didn't even get a penalty

He will slide out of it. Slippery Quadey has seen the inside of a courtroom a few times. Sharks forwards if fired up could make it impossible for the Reds to win Quade or no Quade. Craven

If Coopers is not playing the sharks have a good chance of winning

We need to dominate the lineouts to win. We can if the Sharks pitch for the game. Alberts, Marcell, Ryan - Create HAVOC. Daniels - Captain My Captain. Bismarck - Remember they break easily. Bring daai Diesel Masjien. Mvovo - Bayeti Nkosi. Go Boys, 100% behind you. BLACK . WHITE . DYNAMITE
