Cape Town - Stormers prop Pat Cilliers is eager to impress against the Sharks front row and perhaps catch the eye of Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer.
The 27-year-old Cilliers played six Tests for the Boks in 2012, but has not been back in the national fold since joining the Stormers in 2013.
He is contracted to the Cape side until the end of this year, and has been linked with a move to Montpellier in France.
However, in an interview with Die Burger, Cilliers said he would like to play at next year's Rugby World Cup in England.
"It is a big personal goal and I'm working hard to achieve it. I definitely want to play in the Green-and-Gold again. Two years ago I got a taste of what it's like to play for the Springboks."
A solid performance against the Sharks' Springbok front row on Saturday would be step in the right direction for Cilliers.
Kick-off for the clash at Newlands is scheduled for 19:10.
