Cape Town - Chiefs centre Bundee Aki has been cleared of a leg injury and will travel with the squad to South Africa.
According to the allblacks.com website, Aki left the field during the Chiefs' 45-3 victory over the Cheetahs last weekend after an accidental collision had him on the deck writhing in pain.
While it was suspected that initially the injury was just deep tissue bruising, such a concern is a major problem on long haul flights, but the youngster walked off the field with minimal assistance, and will be considered for selection this weekend.
Andrew Horrell and Ross Filipo will also travel with the squad, but may not be risked against the South African Conference champions, who will also play the Kings in a fortnight.
The defending Super Rugby champion Chiefs have started the defence of their title in sublime form, beating the much-fancied Highlanders 41-27 in their opening match, before accounting for the Cheetahs in fine style last Saturday.
