Cheetahs hold off Madibaz

Cape Town - The Cheetahs' second-string side beat the NMMU Madibaz 31-26 in a practice game in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.

The Cheetahs were made to work hard for their win over the Varsity Cup side, who pushed for a win right up to the final whistle.

The Free Staters led 19-14 at half-time, and scored five tries to four.

The Cheetahs' first-choice side will play the Kings in PE on Saturday.
