Cape Town - Stormers flank Schalk Burger on Thursday suffered a groin injury in training which could see him miss their Super Rugby qualifier against the Brumbies at Newlands on Saturday (17:05 kick-off).
Burger was included in the Stormers' starting line-up for the clash, but would need to pass a late fitness test in order to face the men from Canberra.
Should Burger fail to recover in time, Michael Rhodes will start at flank, with Sikhumbuzo Notshe coming onto the bench as a loose forward replacement.
The Stormers have until 16:00 on Saturday to indicate whether Burger will be available for the clash.
