Burger looking good in practice

    Cape Town - Stormers forwards coach Matthew Proudfoot says Schalk Burger is match fit and raring to go as they prepare to face the Sharks at Newlands this weekend.

    Burger is back n Cape Town after completing his club commitments at Suntory Sungoliath in Japan and will come into consideration for Saturday's clash.

    "Schalk has practiced with us and he is looking good," Proudfoot told Netwerk24.

    Proudfoot was however unable to say whether forwards Michael Rhodes (knee) and Ruan Botha (possible concussion) would be ready for this weekend's clash.

    The Stormers will announce their team to face the Sharks on Thursday.

    Saturday's clash at Newlands kicks off at 19:10.
