Cape Town - Bulls coach Frans Ludeke says they will take heart from their previous visit to Eden Park as they prepare to face the Blues in a Super Rugby clash on Friday.
The Bulls beat the Blues 28-21 in 2013 and Ludeke feels that win will give his side a psychological edge going into this week's clash.
"Obviously things have changed since the 2013 game, but it still feels as though we are avoiding a mental block because we won our previous game at Eden Park," Ludeke told Netwerk24.
"We want to repeat that performance. Our set pieces were very effective and I remember we were ruthless on defence. The Blues threw everything at us, but we managed to hold them off and score tries from turnovers."
The Blues have won only two out of 12 games this season and sit in a lowly 13th position on the overall log, but Ludeke warned that it won't be easy.
He pointed to the fact that six of the Blues' eight bonus points this season came after they lost matches by fewer than seven points.
Friday's clash at Eden Park in Auckland is scheduled to start at 09:35 (SA time).
