Pretoria - Next Saturday’s Vodacom Super Rugby match between the Bulls and Stormers at Loftus Versfeld is officially sold out. Kick-off is at 19:10.
The Bulls' fortress will host 50 000 fans, and the Blue Bulls Company is hoping to make it an all-pink affair in an effort to raise the awareness of the importance of early cancer detection.
CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, Barend van Graan said he was once again overwhelmed with the positive response of the rugby loving public.
“I am touched by our loyal supporters who have booked their seat to watch their beloved team. We will be playing in our alternative match kit in an effort to support the Cancer Association of South Africa. I would like to challenge our Bulls family as well as other rugby lovers to get behind our Get Your Pink On campaign and wear pink on Saturday. We have an SMS donation line open as well as a website and I urge everyone to please make a donation - no matter how small.”
In an effort to encourage fans to arrive early, there will be plenty of pre-match entertainment including Robbie Wessels performing in the beer tent on the D-field as well as a kids entertainment area.
To support CANSA in the fight against cancer, SMS the amount of your donation to 30100 or go to www.getyourpinkon.co.za to make an online donation.
