Bulls fall short in Napier

Cape Town - The Bulls lost their first Vodacom Super Rugby match of their overseas tour against the Hurricanes in Napier on Saturday.

AS IT HAPPENED: Hurricanes v Bulls

The Hurricanes won 25-20 after leading 16-13 at half-time.

The Hurricanes picked up four points for their victory to second in the New Zealand Conference and seventh in the Overall log.

The Bulls picked up a single point for losing by seven or fewer points and jumped to second in the SA Conference and fourth in the Overall standings.

In next weekend's Round 9 action, the Hurricanes have a bye, while the Bulls travel to Dunedin to face the Highlanders (Friday, April 11 at 09:35)
