Brumbies say no to O'Connor

Cape Town - The Australian Super Rugby Conference leading Brumbies have ruled out signing Melbourne Rebels star James O'Connor.

Rumours were rife last week that the 22-year-old wasn't happy at the Rebels and was looking to move either back to the Western Force or start anew with the Brumbies.

However, according to the Stuff website, Brumbies backline coach Stephen Larkham scotched suggestions on Tuesday that they were in the market for the Wallabies utility back.

"There's no truth in that at all. We're not talking to him," Larkham said.
