    Brad Thorn ready for break

    Wellington - Battle-scarred Brad Thorn is feeling the effects of 20 years of ferocious rugby but the Highlanders' lock feels he has enough in the tank to put his body on the line for one more year.

    Thorn's fatigue can be partially attributed to the fact he has not stopped playing since the end of the 2010 season.

    "I'm keen to play some more footy. I feel pretty good, but I just need a break ... it's that simple."
