Boshoff tours with Lions

    Johannesburg - Lions coach Johan Ackermann has announced a 27-man touring squad for their Super Rugby tour to Australasia.

    The Lions will play four matches against the Blues, Crusaders, Melbourne Rebels and the Reds on tour.

    The Lions, who lost 22-19 at home to the Stormers at the weekend, are without a win from their first three matches in the competition.

    Flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff, who was dropped from the 23-man team for the Stormers clash, has been included in the squad to tour Australia and New Zealand. Elton Jantjies and Jaco van der Walt - who were the two Lions flyhalves at the weekend - are also included.

    The team departed for New Zealand on Sunday evening.
