Cape Town - The Free State Cheetahs have received good news with Springboks Adriaan Strauss and Coenie Oosthuizen set to stay in Bloemfontein for two more seasons.
Volksblad reports that the duo decided to stay at the Free State side despite huge offers locally and abroad.
Both players' contracts are due to expire in October this year, but coach Naka Drotské has assured fans they'll be seen in a Cheetahs jersey until 2014 at least.
Hooker Strauss is part of the Springbok squad for the upcoming Rugby Championship, while prop Oosthuizen - who made his international debut in the recent England Test series - is busy recovering from a neck injury.
He is expected to be back in action in a month's time when Free State host Western Province in the Currie Cup.
They start their Currie Cup campaign against the Golden Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday.
