Waratahs edge Reds in Sydney

Cape Town - The Waratahs have edged the Reds in a ding-dong Australia Super 14 derby clash in Sydney.

The Waratahs won 15-11 after trailing 11-10 at half-time.

The Waratahs scored tries through prop Benn Robinson and replacement centre Timana Tahu. Flyhalf Kurtley Beale kicked a penalty and a conversion.

The Reds replied with a try by wing Peter Hynes and two penalties by scrumhalf Ben Lucas.

The Waratahs picked up four points for their efforts while the Reds picked up one for losing by fewer than seven points.
