Sydney - Queensland Reds have bolstered their pack for next year's Super 15 by signing experienced Australia prop Guy Shepherdson.
The 28-year-old tighthead joins the Reds from ACT Brumbies, where he played 70 Super games and won 18 international caps.
"It's not often you get to bring in someone as experienced as Guy and at 28, he still has plenty of life in him," said head coach Ewen McKenzie.
"We want to make our squad as competitive as possible and now we have a range of skills and experience in the front row. As a group, we'll benefit from that."
Queensland have also signed new deals with Reds Academy centre, Ben Tapuai, Australia under-20s captain Jake Schatz and ex-Australia forward Radike Samo.
