Brisbane - The Reds are well on their way to ending their season on a positive note, going into half time 24-3 up against the Highlanders.

The Reds scored four tries in the first half through Digby Ioane, Radike Samo, Peter Hynes and Quade Cooper.

Israel Dagg kicked the only points for the Highlanders with a first half penalty.
