Johannesburg - Chiefs winger Dwayne Sweeney has been cited for a dangerous tackle during his team's Super 14 match against the Waratahs at Waikato Stadium, in Hamilton on Saturday.

Citing Commissioner Steve Hinds cited Sweeney for an alleged dangerous tip tackle on Waratahs winger Drew Mitchell in the 19th minute of the match.
