Cape Town - Springbok assistant coach Johann van Graan is being linked with a coaching role at English club Bath.
According to the Bath Chronicle, Van Graan was originally lined up for a position as scrum coach, but could now be set to take up the head coaching role after Mike Ford's recent exit.
Earlier this week it was also reported that former Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer could become the director of rugby at Bath.
This would see Van Graan and Meyer again join forces, having worked together at the Springboks for the last four years.
Meyer decided not to re-apply for his role of Springbok head coach late last year, but Van Graan’s contract was extended.
However, Van Graan’s role at Springbok forwards has been cast in doubt with the recent appointment Matt Proudfoot, who is also a forwards coach.
Proudfoot was appointed by SA Rugby after new Bok coach Allister Coetzee indicated he would like his former assistant at the Stormers to join him in the national team set-up.
