Sonny Bill: Kolisi captaincy a wonderful moment for SA

Cape Town - All Black centre Sonny Bill Williams has congratulated Siya Kolisi on his Springbok captaincy appointment.

Kolisi last weekend became the first black player to lead the Springboks in a Test when they beat England 42-39 at Ellis Park.

Williams, who’s currently sidelined with a knee injury, took note of Kolisi making headlines in South Africa and on Wednesday took to social media to heap praise on the new skipper.

Williams said on Twitter that Kolisi’s captaincy appointment was “well-deserved” and a “wonderful moment” for South African rugby.
