Cape Town - Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus is not concerned that positional changes in the South African pack will cause any disruption when they face Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.
With injury ruling out No 8 Warren Whiteley, Erasmus selected a new back-row with Pieter-Steph du Toit moving from lock to blindside flank and Duane Vermeulen shifting from the side of the scrum to No 8.
Erasmus explained that both players had plenty of game time in those positions so far this year and that the change should be seamless.
“Moving Duane and Pieter-Steph around in the pack isn’t disrupting at all, as both of them are very experienced and have played for us in these positions earlier in the season," said Erasmus after naming his team to face the Scots.
Whiteley's injury, a calf strain, will not allow the No 8 to recover in time for the match against Wales next week and he has been withdrawn from the Springbok squad from the rest of the tour.
Saturday's match kicks-off at 19:20 (SA time).
