Newlands Test tickets range between R100-R950

Cape Town - Tickets for the third Test of the Incoming Series between the Springboks and England at Newlands on June 23 will go on sale at 12:00 on Monday, May 7, with the bulk of publicly available seats reduced in price from the Test match last year

Tickets to the final Test, which could potentially be a decider for new Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus' first home series in charge, start from as little as R100 for scholars and R150 for standing room.

The cheapest seats will be Category Four at R450, while the prices for Category Three (R750) and Category Two (R875) have come down since last year. This reduction is significant as it represents a large proportion of the stadium capacity. Category One seats will once again be R950.

Only tickets bought from online.computicket.com, wprugby.computicket.com or any Computicket outlet will be valid for this match. These are the only outlets which are licenced to sell tickets to Newlands. Tickets obtained from any other source may not be valid.

WP Rugby Group CEO Paul Zacks said that following the success of the sold-out Test between the Springboks and the All Blacks last year, the clash against England promises to be another special occasion at Newlands.

"Anyone who has watched a Test at a packed Newlands knows that the atmosphere is something unique to experience.

"We are looking forward to hosting another epic Test match both on and off the field and are happy to confirm that most publicly available seats have been reduced in price from last year," he said.
Thelo Wakefield, president of the Western Province Rugby Football Union, said that the stage is set for another memorable encounter at Newlands.

"As the second oldest active Test venue in the world, there have been many classic Test matches at Newlands and this promises to add to that illustrious list.

"We cannot wait to see the Newlands faithful come in their numbers to get behind the Springboks and also look forward to welcoming many England fans to Cape Town for this match," he said.

Adult and scholars season tickets are valid for the Test match with no further action required and scholars season tickets are strictly valid for under 18s only in the designated scholars’ areas at the north and south ends of the ground.

Note: Scholar tickets will only be available from the Western Province Rugby office and not through Computicket. Those wishing to buy scholars tickets for the Test can purchase them from the Western Province Rugby office, or alternatively contact Jarrod Thomas (jthomas@wprugby.co.za) to arrange.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
