Cape Town - The Springboks will look to win the third and final Test against Ireland at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, and thus deny their visitors a first ever Home Union Test series victory in South Africa.
Kick-off is at 17:00.
Ireland’s 26-20 win in the first Test at Newlands a fortnight ago was their first win over the Springboks in South Africa in eight attempts.
The Springboks then snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the second Test at Ellis Park in Johannesburg (32-26) last weekend.
Overall, the two nations have faced each other in 24 Tests, with South Africa boasting a 17-6 win-loss ratio, with one match ending in a draw.
Ireland though have now won five of the last eight Tests played between the nations.
