Frenchman Poite to ref Italy v Springboks

Cape Town - Frenchman Romain Poite will referee Saturday’s Test between Italy and the Springboks in Padova.

Poite will be assisted by Ireland’s Johnny Lacey and Ben Whitehouse from Wales, while another Frenchman -  Eric Gauzins - will be the television match official (TMO).

Saturday’s Test at the Stadio Euganeo is scheduled for 15:00 (SA time).

The Boks’ final Test of their year-end tour - against Wales in Cardif on December 2 - will be refereed by Jerome Garces, who is also from France.
