Bakkies: Franco Mostert is SA's No 1 lock

Cape Town - Legendary former Springbok lock Bakkies Botha has heaped praise on current incumbent Franco Mostert.

Mostert started alongside Eben Etzebeth in the Springbok second row for their first two Tests of the year against France - matches South Africa both won convincingly.

Botha, who played 85 Tests for the Springboks between 2002 and 2014, is clearly impressed by what he’s seen from Mostert in 2017.

On Sunday, Botha took to Twitter to laud the efforts of the Lions enforcer:

The 26-year-old Mostert made his Test debut against Ireland last year and currently boasts nine international caps.
