Bloemfontein - Former loose forward Andre Venter presented the Springboks with their match-day jerseys on Friday afternoon.
The Boks were busy preparing for Saturday’s second Test against England at the Free State Stadium.
The 47-year-old Venter made 66 appearances for the Springboks and also played in the 1999 Rugby World Cup, where South Africa finished third.
He has been in a wheelchair in recent years after being struck down by a degenerative syndrome of the central nervous system called transverse myelitis. He is a successful businessman and also a motivational speaker.
The Boks currently have a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series having won last Saturday’s first Test in Johannesburg 42-39.
Saturday's Test kicks off at 17:05.
