Sharks 'delay' Bok presser

Cape Town - The Sharks' advancement to the Super Rugby semi-finals has meant the Springbok squad announcement for the upcoming Rugby Championship will be slightly delayed.

The SA Rugby Union on Wednesday announced that there are lingering injury concerns over certain players which will see the 30-man Springbok squad only be announced on Saturday,  August 2.

The squad will gather in Johannesburg for a training camp from August 4 to 8, before preparations for the first Test against Argentina at Loftus Versfeld (August 16) start in Pretoria on Sunday, August 10.

The Sharks tackle the Crusaders in the Super Rugby semi-finals in Christchurch this Saturday and will advance to the final the following week (August 2) if they emerge victorious.
