New date for Boks v World XV

Cape Town - The South African Rugby Union (SARU) on Monday confirmed that the Springboks will get their season underway against a World XV in Cape Town on July 11, a week after the Super Rugby final.

The match was initially scheduled for late August.

The Boks also got their 2014 season under way with a clash against the World XV at Newlands, with the South Africans running out47-13 victors on that occasion.

Springbok fixtures in 2015:

Saturday, July 11: South Africa v World XV - Newlands, Cape Town (Friendly)
Saturday, July 18: Australia v South Africa - Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane (Rugby Championship)
Saturday, July 25: South Africa v New Zealand - Emirates Airline Park, Johannesburg (Rugby Championship)
Saturday, August 8: South Africa v Argentina - Kings Park, Durban (Rugby Championship)
Saturday, August 15: Argentina v South Africa - Venue TBC (Test)
Saturday, September 19: South Africa v Japan - Brighton (Rugby World Cup)
Saturday, September 26: South Africa v Samoa - Birmingham (Rugby World Cup)
Saturday, October 3: South Africa v Scotland - Newcastle (Rugby World Cup)
Saturday, October 7: South Africa v USA - London (Rugby World Cup)
