Lee cited after Mbombela Test

Nelspruit - Welsh prop Samson Lee has been cited following the Castle Lager Incoming Series test match between South Africa and Wales in the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday.

Citing Commissioner James Absaloms from Kenya cited the Welsh player under law 10.4 (a) – striking or punching an opponent - after he allegedly struck South African lock Flip van der Merwe, with the head in the 15th minute of the second half of the match.

The hearing will take place at the Mbombela Stadium at 19h00 on Saturday 21 June 2014. The Judicial Officer is Christopher Quinlan, QC (England).
