***HALF TIME AT TWICKENHAM***

England 6 - 13 South Africa

England have had a lot of possession and territorial advantage but it's the Springboks that lead at half time.  England with far to many handling errors so far.  The only try of the half came after Danny Care spent to much time on the ball and his pass was intercepted by Jan Serfontein who ran 60m to score under the posts.

The Springboks have had to make a number of tackles.  Let's hope that doesn't come back to haunt them in the second half.

Amongst the backs, there are three changes with Pat Lambie and Cobus Reinach replacing Handré Pollard and Francois Hougaard at fly-half and scrum-half respectively while JP Pietersen comes in for Cornal Hendricks on the right wing. Up front, Schalk Burger takes over from Teboho Mohoje at blindside flank and Adriaan Strauss is preferred to Bismarck du Plessis at hooker.

Bath winger Anthony Watson will make his first start for England in place of the injured Semesa Rokoduguni against South Africa. Elsewhere in the starting XV, Dylan Hartley and Courtney Lawes (both Northampton Saints) successfully completed the graduated return to play protocol.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of England versus South Africa. Twickenham is the setting for this November international and with both nations entering on the back of losses to New Zealand and Ireland respectively, a great deal rests on the result. Stuart Lancaster and Heyneke Meyer will be desperate not to suffer successive end-of-year defeats in what should be a tight 80 minutes. Team news is coming up.
1'
Here we go! England kick off. The Boks gather without problem and Lambie clears to near halfway
2'
Strong start from England as they gather the line-out and start the first attack but Hartley is caught in possession on the deck. Lambie sets up the line-out.
4'
Opportunity lost for SA. The line-out is won and it goes to the backline. Serfontein gets a dodgy pass but holds on. The ball goes loose and the Boks go offside so Farrell kicks for the touchline this time.
6'
Strong run from Eastmond into the Bok 22 but he losses it in contact with Serfontein. We'll have the first scrum. Solid scrum from the Boks and Reinach clears under pressure.
8'
Billy Vunipola drops it in contact on the charge after the line-out. Another scrum then some kick tennis. Matfield calls for one...but drops it! It's obviously slippery out there.
12'
PENALTY, SOUTH AFRICA, LAMBIE. 0-3. But now Farrell gifts South Africa a chance of points, as instead of clearing from his 22, he ran it. Wilson was the offender at the ruck.

Burger getting some attention from the medics after taking a bash to the head.
25'
Attwood breaks after the Boks bobble it forward off a boot at a ruck. It comes wide to Eastmond then May, who is stopped just short. They go off their feet but Serfontein had knocked on in the tackle so England have an attacking scrum in the 22.
27'
Another string attack from England but the Boks stand strong. Vunipola takes it off the back but Reinach wraps him up and the Boks get it back. Reinach''s clearance is charged and England have it back. Vermeulen is penalised on the deck. Farrell will line it up.
28'
PENALTY, ENGLAND, FARRELL. 3-10. Easy kick for Farrell.

Penalty from long range but the Boks choose the line-out. Lambie tries a cross-kick but it''s too deep and Brown marks it easily. He finds touch short of halfway so the Boks stay on the attack. Strong maul from South Africa as they rumble forward. Lawes pulls it down - penalty! Lambie lines it up.
32'

40'
ENGLAND 6-13 SOUTH AFRICA
40'
A nothing kick from Farrell is easily collected by Habana, who takes the mark. That's half time. The Boks lead by 10, but neither side have been particularly good. Less errors from SA. We'll be back in ten.

TRY, ENGLAND, WILSON. 11-20. An unstoppable maul from England as the home pack rumbles over.
46'
CONVERSION, FARRELL. 13-20.
47'
Terrible mistake from the officials, who award a line-out to England even though Habana had a foot in touch when he caught the ball.
48'
TRY, ENGLAND, MORGAN. 18-20. Another huge maul from England rumbles forward. They move into the 22 with advantage. Morgan breaks off and muscles his way over!
49'
CONVERSION, FARRELL. 20-20. We're all square, huge comeback from England.
51'
England with their tails up as Brown breaks out again but Etzebeth wins a vital penalty at the breakdown so the Boks can clear it. Lambie finds touch from the penalty. Matfield still in the bin.
53'
Etzebeth claims the line-out and they drive the maul. England go off their feet again. Penalty. Lambie goes for the corner again.
54'
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, BURGER. 20-25. Another great maul results in Burger going over in the corner. Not bad work without Matfield!
55'
Lambie MISSES the conversion. 20-25 it remains. Matfield returns to the fray.
56'
Farrell's restart goes straight out! The Boks drive another maul from halfway with a full pack. Lambie lofts one into the sky, Watson knocks on as he tries to collect. Burger is on hand to pounce but doesn't gather cleanly. Scrum to SA on the England 22.
58'
De Villiers takes it up in midfield and it is quick ball in the 22. The forwards take over and they bash away.
60'
Lambie tries a cross-field kick for Habana to chase. Watson is under it and is taken out in the air. Penalty, but it's off the side of Farrell's boot.

YELLOW CARD, ENGLAND, HARTLEY. Stupid, stupid, stupid. The England hooker stamps on Vermeulen, who is lying on the ground. Walsh has a look on the screen and brings out the card.

68'
PENALTY, ENGALND, FORD. 23-28. Botha penalised for holding on on the ground.
70'
Brown does well to pluck one out of the air under pressure from Habana. Watson makes good ground, so does Robshaw. England have their tails up. It breaks down but we'll come back for a penalty against Coetzee for a high tackle. Ford kicks into the corner.
72'
England maul it but the loose ball is picked up by Habana and the Boks can counter. Loose pass from Le Roux but they secure it and Reinach clears. Le Roux takes Brown in the air so England kick to the corner again. Match in the balance here.
