Cape Town - Former Springbok coach, Jake White, says he would pick Cheetahs flank Juan Smith as his next Bok captain after the World Cup.
White - who will coach the Brumbies in next year's Super Rugby competition - says that it will however not be an easy decision to make, as a number of critical factors would need to be taken into consideration.
"Juan Smith would be my obvious choice but it's not as easy a selection as that. It depends greatly on who the coach is, as there must be a good rapport between the coach and captain. The two personalities must suit each other and gel. Look at Gary Teichmann and Ian McIntosh, Clive Woodward and Martin Johnson, and myself and John Smit. The two have to compliment one another," said White on the website, RugbyXV.
