Frenchman to ref Boks v Italy

Cape Town - France's Pascal Gauzère will referee the Test between the Springboks and Italy at Kings Park in Durban on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 17:15.

Gauzère will be assisted by Wales' Nigel Hennessy and South Africa's Blake Beattie, while fellow South African Johann Meuwesen will be the TMO.

Ireland's John Lacey will handle duties in the earlier four-nations Test in Durban between Scotland and Samoa (kick-off 14:15).

Stuart Berry will be in charge of the IRB Junior World Championship match between hosts France and England on Wednesday (kick-off 18:45) while Jason Jaftha will referee the Romania v Russia clash in the Nations Cup this weekend.

Jaco Peyper will be the man in the middle for the Reds v British & Irish Lions clash at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday (kick-off 11:30 SA time), while Lourens an der Merwe will handle affairs in the Japan v Wales Test in Osaka (07:00).
