Cape Town - The Springboks boast an impressive record against Scotland heading into their Rugby World Cup clash in Newcastle on Saturday.

In 25 previous encounters dating back to 1906, the Springboks have won 20 and lost 5.

Those 5 defeats for the Springboks have all come in Scotland, never in South Africa - and certainly never in Newcastle!

Of those 25 Tests, 18 have been played in Scotland, while only 7 have taken place in South Africa.

The Springboks have scored 652 points and conceded 270 for an average final score of 26-11.
