Cape Town - The roof at the Principality Stadium will be closed for Saturday’s Six Nations clash between Wales and Scotland with expected inclement weather.
QUIZ: Can you name the Six Nations' all-time leading tryscorers?
Scotland had initially asked whether the roof could remain open and with rules stipulating that both teams must be in favour of the roof being closed, it looked likely it would remain open.
However, in an apparent turnaround, Scotland have now agreed the roof's closure as they would prefer dry conditions.
”We would like dry conditions, so if it’s dry conditions outside there’s no need to close the roof, if it’s not, then let’s close the roof and have a really good game,” Scotland coach Gregor Townsend told Reuters.
Meanwhile, Wales coach Warren Gatland believes that the home team should have the say on whether the roof should be closed or not.
“My opinion of the roof is it’s our stadium and we should decide whether it’s open or closed," he said.
Kick-off is at 16:15 SA time.
