List of Six Nations Grand Slam winners

Cape Town - Ireland sealed just their third Grand Slam of all-time with a 24-15 win against England at Twickenham on Saturday.

Some 70 years to the week since they completed their first Slam in the old Five Nations, Ireland had another, having also swept all before them in the 2009 Six Nations.

Here, we take a look at the history of Grand Slam achievements in the tournament's history. 

Grand Slam winners in the history of the Six Nations rugby championship:

England (13) — 1913, 1914, 1921, 1923, 1924, 1928, 1957, 1980, 1991, 1992, 1995, 2003, 2016

Wales (11) — 1908, 1909, 1911, 1950, 1952, 1971, 1976, 1978, 2005, 2008, 2012

France (9) — 1968, 1977, 1981, 1987, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2004, 2010

Scotland (3) — 1925, 1984, 1990

Ireland (3) — 1948, 2009, 2018
