Sharks off to France for pre-season

Cape Town - The Sharks will travel to France in February 2016 on a pre-season tour ahead of the start of their Super Rugby campaign.

There are two games lined-up for the tour with a visit to Stade Mayol first up to take on two-time European champs Toulon on February 5, 2016. The final match of the tour will be against Toulouse on February 11.

"We are excited about our pre-season tour to France. The quality of the opposition we will be facing will ensure that we get the necessary preparation we require ahead of the start of our Super Rugby campaign," director of rugby Gary Gold said via a Sharks release.

"Our players will also enjoy the challenge presented by the full strength Toulon and Toulouse teams and it is sure to be a fantastic rugby occasion for those two matches."

A full strength squad is set to make the tour and fans can look forward to two entertaining and action-packed encounters.
