Springbok Women's Sevens downed by Fiji

Cape Town - The Springbok Women's Sevens side have lost their third game at Cape Town Sevens, going down to Fiji in their final Pool A match.

Fiji ran in five tries to win 27-5, having led 17-0 at half-time.

South Africa managed a consolation try through Nadine Roos.

Imbokodo, an invitation team at the event, lost 40-0 to New Zealand on Friday evening and 31-12 to Russia earlier on Saturday.
