Senatla returns to Stormers on a high

Cape Town - Blitzbok speedster Seabelo Senatla is set to return to the 15-man game with the Stormers after four impressive sevens tournaments.

After four tournaments in the 2017/18 World Rugby Sevens Series campaign, Senatla is top of the series’ Performance Tracker standings.

He has completed a whopping 53 tackles, 37 line-breaks, 10 offloads and 79 carries to top the standings.

Senatla also top the Performance Tracker for this past weekend’s NZ Zevens, where the Blitzboks lost to Fiji in the final. But, for the moment, Senatla is done with sevens as he will join up with the Stormers ahead of the Super Rugby tournament which starts next weekend.

Senatla said that he may return to the Springbok Sevens setup for the Commonwealth Games and Rugby World Cup Sevens.

The sevens event at the Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast is scheduled for April 13-15, while the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco, USA is played between July 20 and 22.
