Injury boost for Blitzboks

Cape Town - The Blitzboks have received a timely boost with news that regular skipper Kyle Brown, Branco du Preez and Cecil Afrika have recovered from injury and have resumed full training.

Brown (minor operation), Branco du Preez (shoulder surgery) and Cecil Afrika (hamstring) have completed full rehabilitation programmes and will now be available for selection for fifth leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series which takes place in Las Vegas from 4 to 6 March.

The Blitzboks are one of three teams currently on 69 points after the first four rounds in the series.

Fiji are placed first due to a superior points margin with South Africa in second and New Zealand in third.
