Blitzboks win Paris Sevens Plate Final

Cape Town - The Blitzboks have defeated Australia 17-7 to win the Plate Final at the Paris Sevens.

The Blitzboks, who lead 12-7 at half-time scored tries through Dylan Sage, Kyle Brown and Rosko Specman while Francois Hougaard, who rejoined the team for the Paris and London tournaments, played a starring role on attack and defence.

Australia breached the Blitzbok defence on only one occasion, through Boyd Killingworth.

Blitzbok flyer, Seabelo Senatla was not able to add to his tournament tally of 10 tries.

He has 64 tries in the HSBC Sevens World Series this year, with Perry Baker of the United States in second place with 40 tries.
