Blitzboks shut out USA

Cape Town - The Blitzboks were far too strong for the USA in their quarter-final clash at the Hong Kong Sevens, running out comfortable 28-0 winners.

South Africa eased into a 14-0 half-time lead with tries from Seabelo Senatla and Ruhan Nel.

In the second-half, Senatla scored a second while Blitzboks debutant Siviwe Soyizwapi crossed for his third of the tournament.

Senatla now has 48 tries this season. 

The Blitzboks will face arch-rivals New Zealand in the semi-finals of tournament.

Kick-off is at 09:44 (SA time).
