Blitzboks power into CT Sevens quarters

Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens team finished Day 1 at the 2017/18 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series Cape Town leg unbeaten after beating Kenya in their final match on Saturday.

DAY 1: Cape Town Sevens

The Blitzboks won 26-7, after leading 14-7 at half-time.

In their earlier Pool A matches, the Blitzboks beat Russia 40-5 and France 31-5.

Victory for the Blitzboks set up a quarter-final clash on Sunday against Fiji at 12:04.

In the others quarters, New Zealand will face England (12:26), Canada will take on France (12:48) and the USA and Argentina will battle it out for a spot in the semi-finals (13:10).
