Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens side convincingly beat New Zealand in their Cup quarter-final clash at the World Rugby Sevens Series event in Dubai on Saturday.

The Blitzboks won 40-0, after leading 19-0 at half-time.

The South Africans ran in six tries as they outclassed their old rivals in all departments.

South Africa will now face Wales in the Cup semi-finals (15:03 SA time), with Fiji and England contesting the other semi-final.
