Blitzboks off to winning start in Singapore

Cape Town - The Blitzboks have beaten Samoa 26-5 in their opening Pool C match of the Singapore Sevens on Saturday.

The Blitzboks scored four tries in their victory against Samoa.

Trailing 12-0, Samoa were finally rewarded for their dominance when captain Alamanda Motuga breached the defence to touch down.

The Blitzboks, though, were more clinical in their execution towards the backend of the match, as they ran in two unanswered tries to seal the win.

The Blitzboks will face Canada in their next match at 09:34 SA time.
