Blitzboks ease into Dubai final

Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens side reached the Cup final of the World Rugby Sevens series event in Dubai with a comprehensive win over Wales in the semi-finals.

The Blitzboks won 36-5, after leading 19-0 at the break.

Speedster Seabelo Senatla scored a first-half hat-trick, before a second-half brace from Justin Geduld and a try by Werner Kok completed another dominant performance.

South Africa will face Fiji in the Cup final later on Saturday (17:33 SA time), after the islanders earlier beat England 31-12 in their semi-final clash.

Earlier on Saturday, the Blitzboks ran in six tries to thump old rivals New Zealand 40-0 in the Cup quarter-finals.
