Blitzboks drawn in 'Pool of Death' for Paris Sevens

Cape Town -  The pools for round nine of the World Rugby Sevens Series in Paris have been drawn and the Blitzboks face an uphill battle to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Cup competition.

Singapore Sevens winners Kenya head Pool A where they will face New Zealand, Portugal and Russia.

Pool B sees Singapore losing finalists Fiji  drawn with Samoa, Scotland and Wales.

The Blitzboks head Pool C where they will face Australia, England and Brazil and finally Pool D includes Argentina, France, USA and Canada. 

The three-day tournament starts on Friday, 13 May.
