Blitzboks crush Scotland to secure World Cup semi-final

Cape Town - The Blitzboks have secured a semi-final spot at the Sevens World Cup after crushing Scotland in their quarter-final encounter in San Francisco. 

South Africa ran out easy 35-5 winners with tries for Werner Kok (2), Justin Geduld (2), Siviwe Soyizwapi and Ruhan Nel.

Selvyn Davids and Geduld added three conversions.

Scotland scored a consolation try through Alec Coombes.

The Blitzboks will now play England for a place in the final of the tournament.

That match kicks off at 21:40 on Sunday (SA time). 

The other semi-final sees Fiji facing New Zealand.
