Cape Town - A dominant display by the Blitzboks saw them cruise into the final of the Sydney Sevens by downing home favourites Australia 26-12 in a semi-final encounter.
Tries by Kwagga Smith (2), Seabelo Senatla and Chris Dry saw the Blitzboks home in a game where Australian ill discipline cost them dearly. The home side were given two yellow cards in the space of a minute with Mick Adams and James Stannard sent to the sidelines for a dangerous tackle and a trip respectively.
Australia were in the contest up until that point and had scored through Tim Anstee to keep within striking distance of the Blitzboks.
Earlier, the HSBC World Sevens Series leaders proved too strong for a game USA side in a quarter-final encounter, running out 21-10 winners.
They will now face England in the final of the tournament and will be looking for revenge after losing to their opponents in pool match on Saturday.
