Cape Town - The South African Sevens side kept alive their chances of a first victory in the 2018/19 HSBC World Rugby Sevens series when they beat Argentina to reach the Cup semi-finals in Vancouver on Saturday.
The Blitzboks won 33-12 after leading 14-7 at half-time.
The Blitzboks scored five tries through Justin Geduld, Siviwe Soyizwapi (2), Muller du Plessis and Stedman Gans.
Selvyn Davids added three conversions, while Branco du Preez added a two-pointer of his own.
The Blitzboks will play Fiji in semi-finals at 00:08 on Sunday (SA time) after the South Pacific island nation beat New Zealand 22-21 in their quarter-final clash.
