Kings wing debuts for Chiefs

Cape Town - Kings wing Sergeal Petersen will play for Kaizer Chiefs' rugby team in next weekend’s Sevens Premier League in George.

The 19-year-old speedster impressed for the Port Elizabeth franchise in Super Rugby earlier this year.

It will be Amakhosi's second year playing in the event and they will again be coached by former Springbok centre Gcobani Bobo.

Former Bok wing, Breyton Paulse, who captained them last year, will be the assistant coach, with former Proteas cricketer Makhaya Ntini again the team manager.

The team will be captained by former Blitzbokke star, Fabian Juries, while a number of accomplished players make up the rest of the squad.

The tournament takes place at Outeniqua Park on 13 and 14 December.

Kaizer Chiefs Sevens squad:

Danwel Demas, Fabian Juries, Junior Bester, Norman Nelson, Sinovuyo Ganto, Sergeal Petersen, Leroy Bitterhout, Reg Muller, Daneel Ellis, Justin Wheeler, Jason Kriel.
