George Sevens event postponed

Cape Town -  The Sevens Premier League, which was due to be played at Outeniqua Park in George this weekend, has been moved to January.

According to the SA Rugbymag website, SARU CEO Jurie Roux asked the SWD Rugby Union to postpone the even due to the countrywide week of mourning and Nelson Mandela's funeral on Sunday.

Tournament promoter Willem Strauss said the tournament will in all likelihood be played on 10 and 11 January.
